The founder of ITES Corporation, Mr. Chong Sooi Fuen, studied Mechanical Engineering in Japan in his early years, and returned to Malaysia to engage in automated mechanical engineering after graduation.
Subsequently, he was invited by some friends from Cameron Highlands to set up a mechanical automated system for their factory. The setup was very successful. He was then referred to other projects by word of mouth from customers, which greatly increased his confidence. In addition, he was familiar with the relevant machinery, so he began to focus on a series of fruit and vegetable screening and packaging machinery.
As a mechanical engineer, he has many years of rich experience in the field of automated machinery. Coupled with thorough training from principal machinery developers, and the support of the original factories in all aspects, he was prompted to found ITES Corporation Sdn Bhd.
